What – Wilderness First Aid Victims

When – April 28, 2011

Where – Bert Adams Scout Reservation

The Wilderness First Aid training team is looking for scouts (13 and up) and adults to be victims for the training on April 28, 2011 at Bert Adams.

This is a great day of getting bloodied up and nasty while laying the woods moaning and groaning.  This is an event that our older scouts in my unit look forward to every year.  If you have scouts that have emergency preparedness merit bag open – check with your counselor to see if this qualifies for the “be a victim” requirement.  This may be a great way to close out this merit badge.

Please email Wayne Miller (WFA Instructor Lead) (wayne@donate.net) directly if you can help with the number of scouts and adults that you can bring.  You’ll need a ride to and from, a lunch, old clothes (the ones you’re wearing will most likely be ruined, a clean set of clothes to go home in, and your best victim-ness.  There is a need for about 20-25 more folks to be victims.
